The decare (daa) is also equal to 10 ares (a), or 1,000 centiares (ca) or 0.1 hectares (ha) (units of area in the metric system), or 0.001 square kilometers (km2) (a unit of area in the SI), or 0.98842 roods (an Imperial unit of area), or about 0.247105381 acres (ac), or 10,763.9104 square feet (sq ft) or 1,195.99005 square yards (sq yd), which are Imperial / US customary units of area.
The decare is used for measuring land areas.
