What is microwatt?

The microwatt is a unit of power equal to 10-6 watts (1 μW = 10-6 W), the derived unit of power in the International System of Units (SI). It is also equal to 1,000 nanowatts (nW), or 0.001 milliwatts (mW), or 10-9 kilowatts (kW), or 10-12 megawatts (MW), or 10-15 gigawatts (GW) or 10-18 terawatts (TW).

1 μW = 10-6 W = 10-6 J/s = 10-6 N·m/s = 10-6 kg·m2/s3

(1 W = 1 J/s. The joule is a derived unit of energy in the SI while the second is a unit of time in the SI.)
