What is kiloliter?

The kilolitre (or kiloliter) is a unit of volume in the metric system equal to 1 cubic meter (1 kL = 1 m³), the derived unit of volume in the International System of Units (SI). It is also equal to 1018 cubic micrometers (μm³), or 109 cubic millimeters (mm³) or 106 cubic centimeters (cm³) (units of volume in the SI), or 10,000 deciliters (dL), or 1,000 liters (L), or 100 decaliters (daL) or 10 hectoliters (hL), which are units of volume in the metric system.
