What is decaliter?

The decalitre (or decaliter) is a unit of volume in the metric system equal to 0.01 cubic meters (1 daL = 0.01 m³), the derived unit of volume in the International System of Units (SI). It is also equal to 1016 cubic micrometers (μm³), or 107 cubic millimeters (mm³) or 10,000 cubic centimeters (cm³) (units of volume in the SI), or 10,000 milliliters (mL), or 100 deciliters (dL), or 10 liters (L) or 0.1 hectoliters (hL) , which are units of volume in the metric system.
